LATE MODELS HEADED FOR THUNDER HILL IN MAYETTA, KS.
There is no time off for the Gladiators on the Late Model series as they pick up the pieces of two nights at the O'Reilly Auto Parts 63rd Hutchinson Nationals and head to Thunderhill Speedway in Mayetta, Ks. this weekend for a scheduled stop-over.
Coming off one of the more exciting finishes in recent years at the fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Hutch National winner Daniel Smith, of Beloit, Ks, will try to continue the roll he has been on through the month of July and challenge point leader Chris Kratzer in the season standings.
Veteran Delbert Smith, of Wichita, Ks. sits second in the point standings followed closely by Dusty Leonard, of Marysville, Ks.
Travis Johnson of Enid, Ok rounds out the top five in the championship point standings heading into Mayetta.
