Inside Line Promotions – AVON, Ind. (July 2, 2019) – The Swindell SpeedLab eSports Team posted a career-best outing on Monday by placing four drivers in the top five of the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series event on iRacing, including the race winner at Limaland Motorsports Park.

Blake Cannon came out on top of the 50-lap main event at the bullring, winning by 0.617 of a second.

“He was a little bit quicker than me, but we had a good race,” he said in a post-race interview with the iRacing eSports Network after coming out on top of a tough duel with Alex Bergeron. “That was a hard, clean fought race. He kept me honest for the 50 laps. I really felt like when we got going I was pretty much just as good as him, but he was a little better on the restarts. I’m out of breath. What a race.”

Teammate Blake Matjoulis won a B Main before he charged from 17th to a third-place result in the main event.

“I was surprised with the speed we had and keeping right up with the leaders with all the damage I had coming from the back,” he said in a post-race interview with the iRacing eSports Network. “I was very pleased with the run.”

Kendal Tucker placed fourth and Matthew McKinney was fifth for Swindell SpeedLab.

Both Cannon and Tucker were heat race winners.

The series resumes action next Monday at Knoxville Raceway.
