FVP Outlaw Clay Classic postponed to Chi Town Showdown in October
By Kayla May, WOO Late Model Series PR (Joliet, IL) -- Heavy rain appeared in the area as the World of Outlaw Craftsman® Late Model Series pulled on to the track at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway for the FVP Outlaw Clay Classic. The rain, alongside reports of dangerous lightning from the Will County Sheriff's department, have postponed the feature event to Oct. 13 during the Chi Town Showdown at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway. The lineup for the postponed event has been set from tonight's qualifying and heat races. Tickets for Wednesday's show will be honored at face value during the postponed event at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway.
