UNOH Signs on as Official Educational Partner of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series

Batavia, OH (January 14, 2021) - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is pleased to announce a new partnership with the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH), located in Lima, Ohio. UNOH is known worldwide as a leader in the Automotive, Diesel, and High Performance industries. UNOH also offers world class degree programs in Business, Health, Marketing, Information Technology, Robotics, and many other fields of study.

As the “Official Educational Partner” of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, UNOH hopes to educate those who have a passion for racing and turn it into a career of their dreams. UNOH’s Drive for Excellence™ aligns with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series’ goal to bring racing entertainment to fans of all ages. UNOH’s state of the art facilities and curriculum provides students the opportunity to get a degree and be involved in the motorsports industry at the same time.

And becoming the Official Educational Partner of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will help us bring awareness to the many career opportunities that exist in the racing industry, after completing a degree at UNOH,” said Trey Becker, Director of Development at UNOH. “This partnership will allow fans the ability to see what educational programs are available to them at all of the Lucas Oil Late Model events, throughout the 2021 season.”

Race fans will benefit from the UNOH partnership with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at every event, with a chance to win an UNOH / Lucas Oil Product prize package by registering at the UNOH display/pit cart in the vendor midway. The UNOH fan interaction pit cart will allow fans to learn more about UNOH, their programs for new students and a virtual tour of the University and opportunities available.

In addition to the chance to win an UNOH / Lucas Oil Product Prize package at every event, UNOH will also offer a year-long contest for a grand prize package, under the UNOH Road to the Dirt Track World Championship. By registering at the UNOH interactive pit cart, fans will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a special VIP Package to attend the DTWC season finale, in Portsmouth, Ohio, on October 15th-16th. The grand prize winner will be selected October 10th.
