Carney Set for ASCS Red River Action Following Non-Wing Victory in Amarillo
TMR Promotions – AMARILLO, Texas (July 30, 2015) – John Carney II is set to tackle the ASCS Red River Region this Saturday, August 1 after picking up his 10th feature event win on the season at Route 66 Motor Speedway with the Elite Non-Wing 305 Series last weekend.
Taking on the Route 66 Motor Speedway with the Elite Non-Wing 305 Sprint Cars last Saturday night for the Southwestern Championship, Carney swept the night after winning his heat race which put him in the fourth starting spot of the $2500 to win feature event. It took no time at all for Carney to show the field around the Amarillo oval as he went on to grab the feature event.
Carney currently has one win on the season with the ASCS Red River Region which came one week before his victory last weekend at the Lawton Speedway on July 18 driving the John James owned 4J.
Carney is set to look for victory number 11 on the season as he is set to return to ASCS competition at the Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas this Saturday night.
John Carney currently holds eight other victories on the 2015 season which include both winged and non-wing sprint car racing and also holds 21 top five finishes. Carney went on to say that all of this could not be possible without the help of all his crew and his sponsors.
