POWRi Launches Lightning Sprint National Point Championship in 2022
Belleville, IL. (2/10/2022) Building off of the successes of great regional series racing action from outstanding competitors within the POWRi Midwest, Minn-Kota, Rocky Mountain, and Southwest Lightning Sprints Series, POWRi has developed a National Point Championship Fund presented by Henchcraft Chassis Canada, as an added incentive for drivers to contend for as well as the yearly regional series titles.
Answering feedback from competitors within Lightning Sprint racing, POWRi will now offer a total $3000 year-end national point fund for members with a top prize of $1000. Special Thanks to Tomy Moreau, with Henchcraft Chassis Canada, for increasing the overall point-fund value as well as being instrumental in the further growth of the division.
Members competing will earn points based on a sliding scale system, as 15-entries are considered a full field and receive full points, with the best fifteen performances throughout the season judged in the yearly points-chase. The highest points earner from the season will gain the honor as the Inaugural POWRi Lightning Sprint National Points Champion presented by Henchcraft Chassis Canada.
Driver membership fee is $100, which provides each POWRi driver the following:
• $100,000 Secondary Insurance Policy.
• Full Excess Medical Coverage.
• Benefit Percentage – 100% of Allowable Expense.
• Personal Deductible Insurance.
• Loss Period – 90 Days from Accident.
• Benefit Period – Payable 52 Weeks from Accident.
