Season Set at Lake Ozark Speedway for the POWRi RaceSaver Sprints
Belleville, IL. (5/9/2020) Entering into the second full season flying the POWRi RaceSaver Banner, Lake Ozark Speedway continues to be a trend-setter in 305 Sprint Car competition in 2020. As the primary facility for the IMCA RaceSaver Program and POWRi Sanctioning Body, Lake Ozark Speedway will host eight events this upcoming race-season.
After a prolonged offseason, the year will now start on May 16th at the super-fast third of a mile banked dirt oval, located on the outskirts of Eldon Missouri, as drivers from all over will try to contain these ultra-racy 305 wing warriors. Previous season champion Jack Potter #15 from Lee’s Summit, Missouri aims to return in 2020, hoping to add a few more trophies to his five wins and nine Top-5’s in as many starts 2019 campaign. Notable returners also include eventual second place in point’s finisher #88 J. Kinder from Holt’s Summit, Missouri, and three-time feature winner #69 Mike Moore of Des Moines, Iowa.
Race-fans can catch all the action of the POWRi RaceSaver 305 Wing Sprints bi-monthly all season at Lake Ozark Speedway, altering race-weekends to give competitors in other divisions track time on their weeks off from racing. With the next event slated for June 13th, motoring enthusiasts will be exhilarated in speed by this growing division of wing sprint car racing.
