ASCS Frontier and NSA Series Joining Together For Events At BMP Speedway and Electric City Speedway

TULSA, Okla. (August 16, 2017) Sometimes, all it takes is a face-to-face meeting to settle the differences that can keep a people divided, and that’s what happened this past weekend as Dan Mann with Electric City Speedway and Mike Quigley with BMP Speedway and the NSA Series sat down with Emmett Hahn to end a rift that has split teams and tracks in Montana for nearly two years.

“We are looking forward to it. We’re excited to see the reunion,” said Electric City Speedway owner, Dan Mann “It’s good to have peace in the valley.”

Through the meeting, the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region will work hand in hand with the NSA Series at Electric City Speedway’s three night Montana Roundup, happening September 1-3, 2017 as well as BMP Speedway’s Dan Laber Memorial on September 15-16, 2017.

“I’m just happy to get all the teams back together and let everyone know they are all welcome. We want to keep Sprint Car racing strong in Montana and Canada and this was the biggest thing we needed to get done to make that happen,” commented NSA Series Director, Mike Quigley.

A tradition of Montana Sprint Car racing for the past 23 years, the Montana Roundup at Electric City Speedway will be three complete shows with each night paying $1,500 to win, $300 to start and will also provide a point fund for the top-three drivers with the best overall average finish.

Entering its 15th year, the Dan Laber Memorial at Billings Motorsports Park takes place on Friday, September 15 and Saturday, September 16 and will be run as two complete shows paying $2,000 to win, $300 to start each night.

Asked about the joint venture between ASCS and the NSA Series, Emmett Hahn stated, “This is a deal where we are able to build Sprint Car racing in Montana, but also give teams the option to race in Canada for good money. This deal is going to be setup where we aren’t stepping on each other so if a guy wanted to, he could race for two championships in a single season.”
