Snyder, Newell, Weger and Busch Victorious on Thursday at Marion County Speedway!

OCALA, Florida (February 8, 2024) - Steven Snyder, Jr., Jeffrey Newell, Braxton Weger and Brexton Busch were victorious on Thursday night during the Florida Micro FunFest at Marion County Speedway.

A staggering field of 130 entries filled the pits featuring a record high 71 NOW600 Non-Wing Outlaws, 28 NOW600 Winged Outlaws, 21 NOW600 Restricted and 10 NOW600 Junior Sprints.

Rising Sun, Maryland’s Steven Snyder, Jr. picked up the Non-Wing Outlaw victory on Thursday. Jeffrey Newell crossed in the runner up spot. Local competitor, Bryce Comer had his best National finish with a third place position. Chase Cabre charged up twelve positions to come up fourth. Gunnar Pio grabbed the fifth spot.

Jeffrey Newell became the first repeat winner in the Winged Outlaw class. Brecken Reese crossed in the runner up spot with Matt Carr crossing in third. Fourth went to Kyle Busch after starting 7th with Braxston Wilson making up the top five.

Braxton Weger claimed his first victory of 2024 on Thursday besting the 21 car Restricted class feature. Noah Carpenter came across in the second position with Brexton Busch rounding out the podium. Cullen Hutchison raced his way to a fourth place finish. Tityn Roberts rounded out the top five.

Brexton Busch picked up his first career NOW600 National victory topping the Junior Sprint feature event. McKenna Kren crossed in the second spot with Levi Ballard finishing third. Gage Pio and Ryder Morris made up the top five.

Racing continues Friday at Marion County Speedway in Ocala, FL for the fourth night of the Dirt2Media Florida Micro FunFest.
