Flud, Newell, Sweatman and Ballard Score Second Night of Florida Micro FunFest at Marion County Speedway!

OCALA, Florida (February 6, 2024) - Frank Flud, Jeffrey Newell, Wesley Sweatman and Levi Ballard scored feature events wins on Tuesday night at Marion County Speedway during the second night of the Florida Micro FunFest with the Dirt2Media National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi Plains Building Division.

A field of 103 entries were on hand featuring 52 NOW600 Non-Wing Outlaw, 27 NOW600 Winged Outlaw, 16 NOW600 Restricted and 8 NOW600 Junior Sprints.

Rolling from the pole of the 25-lap NOW600 Non-Wing Outlaw feature event, Frank Flud picked up the feature event win fending off Mack Leopard. Bill Gise crossed in the third spot with Steven Snyder, Jr. in fourth with Jeffrey Newell the top five.

In NOW600 Winged Outlaw competition, Jeffrey Newell went to victory. Jett Nunley crossed in the second spot with Harley Hollan in third. Cole Schroeder picked up fourth with Kaden Weger in fifth.

Wesley Sweatman scored the 20-lap feature event win in NOW600 Restricted competition. Noah Carpenter came across in the runner up spot. The podium rounded out with Braxton Weger. Jace Cooksey was fourth and Nyles Tudor complete the top five.

Levi Ballard bested the NOW600 Junior Sprint feature event. Weston Foster finished in second with Ryder Morris completed the podium. Grayson Cooksey finished in the fourth spot with McKenna Kren the top five.

Taking a night off on Wednesday, the Florida Micro FunFest for the NOW600 Wild Card Series will return to action on Thursday night at Marion County Speedway in Ocala, Florida.
