Sooner 600 Week Has Arrived!

Bryan Hulbert - DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (June 4, 2023) For the seventh time, the Dirt2Media National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division will go all out with Sooner 600 Week presented Milestone Home Service Co. to see who are the toughest Micro drivers in the land.

A collection of 29 nights since 2017, five tracks have been part of Sooner 600 Week. Port City Raceway the most with 11, followed by Creek County Speedway at nine. Caney Valley Speedway has seen action five times, I-44 Riverside Speedway, who hosted the first Sooner 600 event, has held three events, and Arkoma Speedway one.

Total entry count since 2017 stands at 988 among 431 drivers from 22 states. In the three main division of NOW600, 87 A-Features have been topped by 29 drivers.

This year's test of small car might will take on Caney Valley Speedway (Wednesday), Creek County Speedway (Thursday), Red Dirt Raceway (Friday), and Port City Raceway (Saturday).

For the four night run, teams will race for $500 to win each night in A-Class and Non-Wing. Restricted will run for $350 to win.

The 2023 season marks the 11th year of competition for the National Open Wheel 600 Series. Anchored by the Dirt2Media NOW600 National Championship, the NOW600 Series comprises several regional tours and sanctioned racetracks. The NOW600 National Championship features three divisions of 600cc micro sprints at each event: Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class, and Restricted 'A' Class.
