Dirt2Media NOW600 Series Is Sweet Springs Bound
Bryan Hulbert – SWEET SPRINGS, Mo. (April 25, 2023) A tune-up weekend, so to say, for the Pete Frazier Memorial in September, the Dirt2Media National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division will head for Missouri’s Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex on Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29.
Last in action at Sweet Springs in 2016, Non-Wing wins were split between Dylan Kadous and Quinton Benson. A-Class scores went to Nathan Benson and Garrett Hulsey, while Restricted wins went to Braden Knipmeyer and Trey Gropp. One of Micro racing’s most revered ovals, the weekend will feature A-Class, Stock Non-Wing, Restricted, and SSMC Junior Sprints. Seven rounds into the 2023 season, Johnny Boland has taken the points lead in Non-Wing action. Brecken Reese leads in A-Class, and Carson Bolden leads in Restricted.
Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29, will open at Noon for teams to begin pulling in. Teams will draw in between 4:45 P.M. and 5:45 P.M. with the Driver’s Meeting at 6:00 P.M. Grandstands open at 5:00 P.M., Hot Laps are at 6:30 P.M., and Racing is at 7:30 P.M. (CDT). Tickets per night are $15 for adults, $10 for Youth (6-12), and free for kids five and under. Pit Passes are $30 per day per class entered.
