Corbin Claims First and Drake Goes Two for Two in Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Action at 281
STEPHENVILLE, Texas (July 2, 2017) – Colton Corbin and Kale Drake each claimed victory in their respective divisions on Saturday night at the 281 Speedway with the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass.
Current Driven Midwest NOW600 North Texas Region, Colton Corbin took advantage of his pole starting spot and went off to claimed his first Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Win in the Winged A-Class.
Dustin Davidson ran in the second spot after Chad Wilson put up a battle but settled for third at the conclusion of the 15-lap Main Event. Daison Pursley ran fourth with Brady Ross advancing from the eighth starting spot to fifth.
Davidson and Pursley each claimed the Winged A-Class Heat Race victories.
Kale Drake went two for two in the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Restricted ‘A’ Class competition taking the victory at 281 Speedway.
Drake who earned the pole position of the 12-lap Main Event went off to lead wire to wire to pull off the win. Daison Pursley crossed in the second spot with Ryder Laplante finishing in the third spot. Caleb Rouser and Casey Merrell rounding out the top five. Sixth went to Shelby Price.
Next up for the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass will see another Texas Two Step with RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas hosting their first National Tour event on Friday, July 14 and then Superbowl Speedway seeing their third National event of 2017 on Saturday, July 15.
