Tri-City Motor Speedway releases 2015 entertainment schedule!

(Auburn, MI) Do you like fast cars, loud noises and lots of excitement? Then you don’t want to miss our one of a kind season opener on Friday April 24th with a tribute to Jayson Leisentritt. The 2015 season is action packed with stock car racing every Friday night through the season finale, Battle By the Bay on September 11th and 12th.

2015 marks the five year anniversary of the new dirt track and TCMS is showing appreciation for your loyalty. Fan appreciation night on May 8th includes free admission for firefighters, first responders, police and military, general admission just $10 for adults, $5 for 7-17 yr olds and 6 and under is free. Fan appreciation includes 50 cent hot dogs and a driver meet and greet before the races. On Saturday, May 9th TCMS is swinging the gates wide open and inviting the community to join us for a free firework demo display courtesy of the Wolverine Fireworks. The show is starting at dusk and lasting about two hours.

Back by popular demand are fan favorites including the Engine Pro Sprints on Dirt, the 2nd annual Faster Pastor race, a three part Figure 8 series and the return of the Michigan Traditional Topless Sprints. The excitement doesn’t stop with the racing, we have mascots causing mayhem, two autograph nights for the kids and fireworks on Friday, July 3rd. Rounding out the action for the season, TCMS has the honor to host the AMA District 14 State Championship for Flat Track and TT racing on September 19th and 20th. As always TCMS keeps your entertainment affordable for the family; coolers are welcome with your favorite snacks and drinks, just no glass containers. Tri-City Motor Speedway is your home for stock car racing at the newly renovated 3/8 mile clay oval track and provides on the edge of your seat action for fans of all ages. Weekly racing includes Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Pro Stocks, Street Stocks and Bomber Stocks. Conveniently located off of US-10 and I-75 at 85 W. Wheeler Rd. Auburn, Michigan, the season opens Friday April 24th and runs through September 20th, 2015. General admission prices: adult $14, age 55 & better $13, kids 7-13 $8, and 6 and under are always FREE. Friday – Pit gate opens 5:00, grandstand gates open at 5:30, hot laps begin 6:30-6:45; Beat the Track Record and/or Tri-City Pursuits after hot laps and green flag drops (races start) at 7:55 pm.
