Ryan Smith continues to improve!
The 2014 Williams Grove Season Opener was a solid performance for the #94 team and Driver Ryan Smith. Finishing 2nd in the 1st heat, transferring into the feature, Smith would start 7th on the grid. Smith and the top runners ran closely throughout the feature. Smith would hold his own fighting for 4th behind Gerard McIntyre Jr, Stevie Smith and Brian Monteith.
“The night was almost perfect” according to crew chief Jeremy Bitner, “The car, the crew, the driver were all in a groove together. We had a slight pickup problem on restarts we know what the issue is and where we need to improve from here. Anytime you roll into this track you know you are going to race against some of the best in the country. The front runners were fast and Ryan did a great job keeping the car up front even with a handicap. Overall we are pleased and know we can improve from this point and move forward.”
Smith and the #94 RWR/S&S Speedway team will be a weekly entry at Williams Grove Speedway. With visits to other area tracks throughout the year, this will include the All Star Circuit of Champions and World of Outlaws races in the area.
