Ty Williams and Terry Easum with Memorial Weekend Wins in POWRi 305 Sprint Series

Belleville, IL. (5/29/23) Throttling through a three-day holiday weekend of speed in the LisaSellsTheLake POWRi 305 Sprint Series Memorial Day celebrations; Ty Williams would double-down on weekend wins with Terry Easum wrapping up the three-day swing victorious.

Starting the first night at Callaway Speedway would see Natalie Doney and Ty Williams each earning heat racing victories as Natalie Doney would earn the night’s high point qualifier award to earn a front-row grid for the feature event.

Launching on the feature green flag racing would find front-starter Doney battle front-row companion Mitchell Moore into the first pair of corners with Natalie Doney taking the early advantage as the field plotted for position behind the leader.

Earning his debut career victory in the LisaSellsTheLake POWRi 305 Sprint Division, Ty Williams would outduel runner-up placement Lane Warner to capture the feature win. Dean Hathman would clinch third as Kenny Potter finished fourth with Jack Potter rounding out the top-five finishers for the LisaSellsTheLake POWRi 305 Sprint Series feature event at Callaway Speedway for the fourth race of the 2023 season.

Heading into the second stop of the weekend with twenty-three entries, Lake Ozark Speedway would see Lane Warner, Ty Williams, and John Barnard each earning heat racing victories as Ty Williams would earn the night’s high point qualifier award to earn a front-row grid for the feature event.

Gaining his second-straight career victory in the LisaSellsTheLake POWRi 305 Sprint Division, Ty Williams would outduel runner-up placement Tyler Elliott to capture the feature win. Ninth-starting Brett Combs would clinch third as Lane Warner finished fourth with John Barnard rounding out the top-five finishers for the feature at the series home facility in the fifth race of the 2023 season.

Finalizing the three-day weekend at “The Lake” would see Lane Goodman, Matt Fox, and Randy Martin each earning heat racing victories as Lane Goodman would earn the night’s high point qualifier award to earn a front-row grid for the feature event.

Securing his second career victory, Terry Easum would outduel continual front-runner and runner-up placement Randy Martin to capture the feature win. Pole-starting Lane Goodman would clinch third as John Barnard finished fourth with Randy Corpening rounding out the top-five finishers for the LisaSellsTheLake POWRi 305 Sprint Series feature event at Lake Ozark Speedway for the sixth event of the 2023 season.

Next up for the LisaSellsTheLake POWRi 305 Sprint Series will be a three-day journey linking with the Oil Capitol Racing Series in a non-points weekend. Beginning at Lucas Oil Speedway on Thursday, June 15th, followed by I-70 Motorsports Park for the POWRi Double on Friday, June 16th, then finalizing the speed-fest at Lake Ozark Speedway’s Father’s Day Wing-Fest on Saturday, June 17th.
