POWRi Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprints Continue Season Competition June 4-5
Belleville, IL. (06/01/2021) Claiming the 2021 POWRi Lightning Sprint Nationals Champion in series champion Chris Crowder, the Lucas Oil POWRi Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprints will now buckle down for the mid-season fury of Centennial State lightning sprint racing exhilaration beginning with a packed weekend of June 4-5.
With an outstanding representation at the Third Annual POWRi Lightning Sprint Nationals, the Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprinters proved that the competition level is intense with reigning champion Crowder earning the championship-night feature event win and night-one semi-feature victory. Dakota Dillon would be in contention all weekend leading feature laps and grabbing a pair of heat race victories. Josiah King would pocket a heat race victory as well as a semi-feature win with Andy Flood earning a heat race victory.
So far in the 2021 Lucas Oil POWRi Rocky Mountain Sprint racing competition, Johnny Boos has been in fine form claiming both series victories and leading the current points standings. Boos would flex his racing prowess by leading laps in Missouri while notching a heat race victory, semi-feature win, and earning a hard-charger award.
