Wiedeman Teams Up with Coleman Powersports for the 2021 Racing Season

Colby, KS- At the age of 15, Bryant Wiedeman, #01 Keith Kunz Motorsports, will carry primary sponsorship from Coleman Powersports as he competes in his first full season in the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League and USAC NOS Energy National Midget Series.

“We are extremely excited to sponsor Wiedeman as a very young and talented driver with the KKM racing team. Coleman Powersports and dirt track midget racing align themselves very nicely together as they share the same passion for racing and adventure,” stated Rich Godfrey, President/CEO of Coleman Powersports. “We look forward to working with Bryant and hope to do some joint marketing/promotional activities at some of the upcoming races this summer,” commented Neil Godfrey, with CPS.

Coleman Powersports is not new to the sponsorship of racing talent. Under the sponsorship name of Yerf-Dog (Godfrey spelled backwards), they were part of 2 NASCAR Championships, once in 2001, as Craig Raudman, with Dave Reed Racing, won the Featherlite Southwest Tour Championship, and again in 2003, when Scott Lynch, Jim Lynch Racing, won NASCAR Winston West Series.

“Racing for KKM and TRD has been a dream come true and getting a major sponsor like Coleman Powersports will definitely go a long way to help me advance my racing career. I will do everything possible to make them proud to be my sponsor!”, stated Wiedeman.

Racing a very limited midget schedule for KKM in the fall of 2020, Wiedeman picked up his first Top 5 finish at the Donnie Ray Crawford Sooner State 55, after only his 3rd start in the POWRi midget division. This season Wiedeman has already scored 4 top 5 finishes, 8 top 10 finishes, and has made all A feature events in the first fourteen POWRi and USAC races so far this year.
Wiedeman’s career best finish of 2nd, came recently at the Stenhouse’s Hometown Challenge, in Memphis, Arkansas.

Prior to racing fulltime this year for KKM, Wiedeman finished the 2020 micro sprint season with 4 National Wins, 16 top 5 finishes, 24 top 10 finishes, 40 A Mains, and 2 Rookie of the Year Awards, while competing in the Lucas Oil NOW600 and POWRi Engler 600cc Micro League Series. Wiedeman finished 3rd. in POWRI points and 5th, and 8th in the NOW 600 winged and non-winged divisions respectfully.

Wiedeman’s racing career began at the young age of 6, when he won the very first go-kart race he ever raced in! Over the years, Wiedeman would go on to amass well over 100 wins and numerous championships, including being the only Jr.3 driver at the age of 12 to ever win the coveted Maxxis Midwest Triple Crown Trophy for winning all three Jr.3 championships in one year.

Bryant Wiedeman Racing would also like to thank his current sponsors, Triple T Farms, Purple Wave Auction, Stromberger Farms, Bank Compensation Consulting Group, Western Kansas Wildlife Travel Center, Grant and Katrina Harris, and Mike Braun. Follow Bryant on Facebook at Bryant Wiedeman
