POWRi Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprint Association Anticipates 2020 Race Season

Belleville, IL. (3/5/2020) Offering some of the nation’s best Lightning Sprint racing year after year the POWRi Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprint Association aims to continue offering the on-track excitement in 2020. Sanctioning a variety of 21 events in the summer months ranging from early-May until late-September. With a few battling features offering drivers the added thrill of going traditional, with five race-dates scheduled for non-wing racing accomplishments.

Starting the season on Saturday, May 9th at El Paso County Raceway the POWRi RMLSA will visit four familiar “Centennial State” fan-favorite venues as well as competitors having the chance to chase a National Championship in Belleville Illinois, at the 2nd Annual POWRi Lightning Sprint Nationals held at Belle-Clair Speedway on May 22nd-23rd.

Calhan, Colorado’s El Paso County Raceway will serve not only as the season kick-off facility but, as the home track for the Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprints in 2020. Hosting seven winged races, including the El Paso County Fair on Saturday, July 18th and the season finale/championship night on Saturday, September 26th.

Honor Speedway in Pueblo, Colorado along with I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan, Colorado will also see their share of Lightning Sprint speed with both tracks hosting five events a piece throughout the season. Not only limited to wing racing both venues will also offer race-dates with non-wing contests.

Rounding out the five-track-21-race-date schedule, finds the POWRi Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprint Association at Holyoke, Colorado for a pair of features at Phillips County Raceway on July 3rd and August 28th.

As part of the POWRi Racing League organization, POWRi provides a point fund for each individual division, offering competitors enhanced opportunities to grow within their respective league and series.
