Trey Marcham Takes Victory with POWRi West Midgets at I-44 Riverside Speedway

Oklahoma City, OK (7/20/24) Trey Marcham would run rapidly and smoothly to claim his second checkers of the season while battling up-front at I-44 Riverside Speedway to notch his thirteenth POWRi West Midget League career victory in the penultimate thrilling twenty-lap seasonal stand-alone event.

Early on-track action would find Trey Zorn earning the hard-fought heat racing victory as Zorn would also gain the high-point qualifier award through a second-to-first run in thrilling heat racing action.

Going green flag racing with Trey Zorn starting pole and Trey Marcham lined up outside row one, Trey Marcham would grab the initial lead using the high side of the first pair of corners as Kyle Jones would move into the runner-up spot while trying to stay close to the lead.

Witnessing only a single caution from the runner-up Kyle Jones's mechanical issues, Trey Marcham would hold steady on the final nine revolutions after the restart to lead all of the twenty-lap feature event to earn his thirteenth career league feature win as Brant Woods placed runner-up with Trey Zorn finishing in the final podium position.

Staying in the hunt for the front all night fifth-starting Brylee Kilmer would place fourth with Kyle Jones rounding out the top-five finishers for the POWRi West Midget League at I-44 Riverside Speedway.
