Lorne Wofford Wins in Jackson Compaction POWRi Vado 305 Sprint Feature

Belleville, IL. (8/21/23) Challenging through the ninth feature event of the season in the POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprints, Lorne Wofford would clinch the checkers over a determined field of high-caliber racers to notch his fourteenth career series win.

Early on-track competitions would find Royal Jones and Lorne Wofford each earning the heat racing wins with Robert Herrera and Dylan Harris bringing the field to green as the first row.

Speeding from the seventh-starting spot, Lorne Wofford would lead the final pair of laps to gain his first series win in 2023 within the POWRi Vado 305 Sprints as pole-starting and twenty-three lap leader Robert Herrera finished runner-up with Dylan Harris completing the podium placements.

Sailing through the field to contend with the lead pack would find Aydan Saunders finish fourth with sixth-starting Wes Wofford rounding out the top-five finishers at Vado Speedway Park with the POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprints.
