Schuett ready to return to Belle-Clair Speedway this Friday night
Dupo, IL (April 6, 2015) After an impressive opening weekend back in mid-March, including a midget career high eighth place finish, Kyle and his Schuett Racing team have had a few weeks off to prepare for what will be an incredibly busy season. The rookie, Schuett, performed like anything but a rookie at Port City back in March and currently sits eighth in the Lucas Oil POWRi point standings. This weekend, the team will make its first of several scheduled appearances at the famed Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, Illinois when the POWRi midgets, POWRi micros, and the UMP late models team up for a spectacular night of racing, dubbed the “Battle at Belle-Vegas I.”
“Little Belleville” as it is known in the racing world holds a special place in Kyle’s racing career, as it is where he picked up his first and only Speedway Motors POWRi Micro Sprint feature win last year during the Charlene Meents Memorial. Kyle also was able to make some laps around Belleville last year in his midget trying to gain experience before beginning his quest for the 2015 Rookie of the Year title. This year, Kyle will head to Belleville hoping to put his Esslinger powered Boss chassis up front and continue his great start on the season.
