Bryan Roach Makes 1st Ever Trip To Rock Auto Victory Lane!

Bryan Roach makes his first ever Visit to the Rock Auto Victory Lane at Cedar Lake Speedway on Saturday September 8 during the 18th annual Jerry Richert Memorial.
With a field of 29 Traditional Sprints checking into the pits, there were 4 PIRTEK Fluid Transfer Solutions heat races with the 2k of Jake Kouba driving his dad’s car and earning high points for the night and redrawing the pole. Bryan would start 2nd in a stout 28 car field of the POWRi Lucas Oil A Feature. Bryan quickly jumped into the lead and led the first 3 laps before the #2k of Kouba would overtake the lead. The racing surface was providing for many grooves to race in with several drivers charging forward, after a caution for a spin out in turn 4 during the restart lap we would see the red flag come out for the #93 of Peterson and the #14 of Cam Schafer getting together causing Cam to tumble into the middle of turns 1 and 2 and come to rest against the wall, ending the night for both racers. The 2K would hold the lead until lap 12 when Roach would charge in and retake the lead maintaining it for the remainder of the feature. The Hard Charger of the night would be the #55 of Joseph Kouba running from 21st to 9th.
