Caho Overcomes Early Mishap, Wins At SCVR July 5

Rob Caho, Jr. of Wyoming, Minnesota overcame some early adversity to pick up his third TSCS win of the season on July 5 at the St. Croix Valley Raceway. Caho's car was contacted by the car driven by Brian VanMeveren in an opening lap incident in turn three and stopped on the track. Caho restarted 10th in the 13 car field and steadily worked his way forward while running the cushion. Caho assumed the lead on lap 10 when race leader Katrina Sautbine spun around in turn two. Caho had just taken the lead entering turn one. Caho went on to lead the remaining laps. Finishing in the top five was rookie Mike Mueller, Kevin Bradwell, Johnny Parsons III, and another rookie Jake Kouba.

Track reporter Terry Lehnertz will have more on the race in his report. Results are posted on the TSCS website and points have been updated.
