Sammy Swindell At Open Wheel Driving School July 1
The Open Wheel Driving School presented by Randy Sippel Racing takes students through the critical elements of the car, safety practices, car controls and on-track driving techniques. On Monday July 1, the Open Wheel Driving School presents a unique opportunity for first-hand instruction and training by one the best in the sport, Sammy Swindell. Beginning at 4:00 PM on Monday July 1 at the St. Croix Valley Raceway 1/4 mile dirt oval located near St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, Sammy Swindell, Mike Kertscher and Randy Sippel will provide a tremendous opportunity for sprint car drivers to gain additional insight and instruction. The program will include over an hour of classroom instruction followed by a moderated on-track tour. Students will then have three (3) seven lap sessions behind the wheel of a winged sprint car with instruction between each session and a critique by Sammy Swindell following one of the sessions. The cost for this one day school is $500. Additional laps following the three sessions can be purchased at $10 per lap. Randy Sippel Racing will be providing six (6) winged sprint cars. Local area non-winged drivers are welcome to bring their own non-winged cars if they would like additional instruction.
