Terrell returns to Petaluma All Pro Championship run

SEBASTOPOL, CA 8-9-10 - Sebastopol's Bradley Terrell will return to his home track of Petaluma Speedway this Saturday night in an attempt to defend his current championship point lead in the Petaluma Speedway All-Pro point series. Terrell hopes to carry the momentum from his recent top ten finish in the Civil War series back to the track where he is in search of his first career championship.

"We had a really good night in the Civil War race and hopefully we can continue to run that well in the All Pro Series," said Terrell. "We're in the point lead but not by a lot. I've got a good quality for the rest of the races down here and we're planning on giving it everything we've got."

Last Friday night, Terrell took to the 3/8 mile track he calls home for the visiting Civil War Sprint Car Series as they competed in the 10th round of the traveling campaign. The event marked the tour's final visit of the year to Petaluma Speedway and the competition was second to none.

In qualifying, Terrell drove the Scott Dupont owned #3 car to the 12th fastest lap of the field with a 13:348 second lap. In his heat race he fell from third to sixth, missing the automatic transfer into the 30-lap A-main by just one position. For Terrell, missing the transfer only meant he would have race a bit longer to get into the A-feature by driving his way through the 12-lap semi main.

Terrell started fourth in the last chance race and drove his way to the 3rd position by the waving of the checkered flag. The finish was Terrell's 4th top ten finish of the year in the Civil War Series.

"We had a really good night," said Terrell. " Coming through the B-main was not what we wanted to do but we put it passed us and looked to set up a car that could come from the second row. Hopefully we can run that strong this week again and for the rest of the season."

Bradley Terrell wishes to thank his car owner Scotty Dupont and his marketing partners including Millhouse Glass, the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians, Randy Hanson Auto Body and Paint. Vanlare Steering Repair, A1 Shower and Mirror Incorporated, Knockout Signs, Santa Rosa Moving & Storage, Altes Engineering, and 4 Wheel Parts.
