Tentative Early Portion of IRA Sprints Schedule
With only a couple weekends yet to be finalized on the 2024 Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints schedule, we thought we'd release the early season portion of our tentative schedule to get teams and fans thinking ahead. Additionally we're proud to announce that Bumper To Bumper Auto Parts & Service Centers has extended their' title role thru 2024, and Sage Fruit and Hepfner Race Products are back on with the Big Apple and Apple Cup Rookie of the Year programs. Lots of exciting things in store for 2024.
The season goes green at 34 Raceway again, April 5-6 with their traditional 2-day kickoff which drew 48 cars each day last year. IRA's Wisconsin home opener is set for the weekend of April 19-20, with the return to the picturesque 3/8 Mississippi Thunder Speedway after more than a decade absence. Then Saturday April 20th IRA roars into Beaver Dam Raceway, joined by the Dirt King Late Models and Badger Midgets. Beaver Dam has a rain date of April 27th. The first weekend of May has the winged 410's making their first ever visit to the Ogilvie Raceway in MN on Friday May 3rd, the 3/8 which is located just north of the twin cities has hosted the World of Outlaw sprints the past few years and is scheduled to do so again this year. Then Saturday May 4th IRA takes the short ride to the Wisconsin side of the cities to Cedar Lake Speedway and an all open wheel event. May 11th has IRA stopping at the popular northern IL venue, Sycamore Speedway, where the Badger Midgets and IRA Lightning Sprints share the card. May 18-19 has the series at a pair of WI favorites with stops at the Plymouth Dirt Track Saturday where the WI wingLESS and PDTR/MSA 360 sprints join in on the fun, and then head to the historic Angell Park Speedway for their season opener on Sunday joined by the Badger Midgets again. Memorial Day weekend May 25-26 has IRA at the Wilmot Raceway for their Open Wheel Spectacular joined by the AutoMeter WI wingLESS powered by Gandrud sprints and the IRA Lightning Sprints Saturday. Sunday the series heads north to the popular 141 Speedway just off the Lake Michigan shores where they will be joined the IRA Lightning Sprints again. The IRA is off May 31-June 1 as the WoO invade southern WI with their annual stop at Beaver Dam Raceway. The bulk of the remaining schedule is primarily filled, though a few details remain to be ironed out before posting, so stay tuned. IRA events can be found on FLO Racing
