Brock Zearfoss scores top-ten in Cotton Bowl visit; Missouri doubleheader ahead

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (March 22, 2021) - Despite a tough start to the weekend and settling with a 20th-place score on Friday, March 19, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss made a big bounce on Saturday, March 20, and concluded his two-day Texas Two-Step at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, Texas, with a top-ten outcome.

Zearfoss, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., BAPS Auto Paints & Supply, Meckley's Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car, finished ninth during the Cotton Bowl Speedway finale and lined up sixth on the grid, the product of a sixth-place finish during the evening’s dash. A victory during Zearfoss’ respective heat race allowed for the dash qualification.

With only one weekend remaining on Zearfoss’ March schedule, the Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native is twelfth in the World of Outlaws championship standings, padded by three top-ten finishes in eight Series starts.

“The weekend didn’t start how we wanted, but we recovered for a big night on Saturday. My team never stops working and they make rebounds like that possible,” Zearfoss said, a former Port Royal Speedway champion and former Outlaws winner at Williams Grove Speedway. “We’re excited to get to Missouri. We have the speed and the potential to do big things and we’ve proven that. We’re going to continue working to build some positive momentum.”

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2021 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year campaign with a doubleheader in Missouri, visiting US 36 Raceway in Osborn on Friday, March 26, followed by a stop at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon on Saturday, March 27.
