Countdown to the Lowes Foods World of Outlaws World Finals Presented By Bimbo Bakeries and Tom’s Snacks: 10 Days

Concord, NC—October 25, 2010— The Fourth Annual Lowes Foods World of Outlaws World Finals Presented By Bimbo Bakeries and Tom’s Snacks at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina is quickly approaching, November 4-6 for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, along with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds. In the 15 days leading up to the three-day action packed season ender, World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series drivers will share their thoughts on what has become one of the “Must See” marquee events of the year.

Next up is Kraig Kinser, who has competed in each of the first three editions of the World Finals. He raced in the 2007 inaugural World Finals in the No. 11K for his father Steve’s team, whom he is driving for again this season. In the World Finals, the third generation driver has couple of Top-10 finishes including a runner-up performance in the opener in 2008. In his career at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, Kinser has three Top-10 finishes. He has nearly 30 Top-10 finishes this season and is solidly in the Top-10 in points.

Kraig Kinser, Driver of the No. 11K Quaker State Maxim:

“It’s definitely getting bigger and bigger, especially with all the cars there. It will be even bigger with the Big Block Modifieds there this year. You always want to run good, but especially with the big crowd they have there and you always want to end the year on a good note. It is a fast place, but you have to slow yourself down to make sure you hit your lines. You have to have your car set up good as well. It’s one of those tracks where you have to have all the pieces working well together to have good run.”

The finale of the World Finals will air live on SPEED on Saturday, November 6 beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern, with Bobby Gerould on the call with Hall of Famer Brad Doty offering expert analysis.
