Rain Delays Kasey’s King of Sedalia to Tuesday, June 29
Sedalia, MO — June 16, 2010 — A steady rain Wednesday night at Missouri State Fair Speedway forced Kasey’s King of Sedalia Presented by Budweiser to be rescheduled to Tuesday, June 29.
Kasey Kahne, who is co-promoting the event along with World Racing Group, will return and compete in his No. 4 Budweiser car at Sedalia on June 29 in the third round of the Showdown for the Bud Crown mini-series.
Tickets to the postponed show on Wednesday night will be honored June 29. Fans who purchased pit passes need to bring their wristbands June 29 to exchange for new wristbands that night. Ticket questions can be answered by calling World Racing Group at 704-795-7223.
Steve Kinser, the 20-time World of Outlaws champion, is the current leader in the standings after the first two rounds of the Showdown for the Bud Crown mini-series. The final round is set for Thursday, July 8, at LaSalle Speedway in Illinois.
Joey Saldana used a win last Sunday afternoon at Dodge City Raceway Park to extend his lead in the World of Outlaws championship standings to 32 markers over Jason Meyers, with Steve Kinser third followed by Jason Sides and Donny Schatz.
The World of Outlaws return to action on Friday, June 18, and Saturday, June 19, at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, N.D.
