At a Glance: World of Outlaws at Eldora Speedway for Outlaw Thunder by Goodyear

Concord, NC—May 4, 2010—

WHAT
•The World of Outlaws head to the famed Eldora Speedway this coming weekend for two full nights of racing on Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8 for Outlaw Thunder by Goodyear. The series will visit the half-mile owned by Tony Stewart three separate times in 2010. Jason Meyers leads the series into Eldora on the strength of a series-best four A-Feature wins and 13 Top-10 finishes. Steve Kinser, who is in his first season driving for Tony Stewart Racing, heads to Eldora as the series most recent winner, having taken the checkered flag at Jackson Speedway last weekend. Donny Schatz, who is Kinser’s teammate, won twice at Eldora last season, while Jason Sides and Terry McCarl each picked up single wins at the track. The World of Outlaws first visited Eldora Speedway during the inaugural 1978 campaign and have competed at the half-mile each and every year since.

WHEN
•On Friday, May 7 at Eldora Speedway, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Eastern, with the grandstand gates opening at 3 p.m. Eastern and hot laps are set for 6 p.m. Eastern with time trials to follow and racing is set for 7:30 p.m. Eastern.

•On Saturday, May 8 at Eldora Speedway, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Eastern, with the grandstand gates opening at 3 p.m. Eastern and hot laps are set for 6 p.m. Eastern with time trials to follow and racing is set for 7:30 p.m. Eastern. A Pre-race pit party will be held from 3:30-5 p.m. Eastern, in the infield pit area. Fans with a general admission ticket will be allowed to cross the track at the flag stand and walk around the infield pit area to meet their favorite drivers.

WHERE
• Eldora Speedway is located in Rossburg, Ohio, 2 ½ miles north of town on SR 118 (60 miles northwest of Dayton).

TICKETS
•On Friday, May 7 at Eldora Speedway, tickets for those ages 16-over will be $25, with tickets for those ages 12-15 $12, with kids ages 7-11 $6, while children 6-under will be admitted free of charge. For ticket information call the track at 937-338-3815.
