Circle City Raceway Takes Over Wednesday Night At The Chili Bowl

Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (December 15, 2020) Shaking up the lineup of Qualifying Night sponsors at the 35th running of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire, Wednesday night has a new title sponsor as Indiana’s newest dirt oval will take over naming rights for the mid-week showdown.

Under construction in Marion County, Indiana, Circle City Raceway will grace the top of Wednesday night’s bill. More than just a new track, Circle City Raceway brings a lot to bear as the latest edition to Indiana’s dirt track history is partly the product of long time Indy Car owner, Jonathan Byrd.

"We are ecstatic about sponsoring Wednesday night of the Chili Bowl Nationals for our inaugural year at Circle City Raceway. What better way to kick off a year than to sponsor one of the largest and most exciting events of the year,” stated Byrd.

With some of dirt track racing’s most prominent sanctioning bodies already on the lineup, Byrd has laid the groundwork for Circle City Raceway to become one of the premier racing destinations in the “Hoosier State.”

“We can't wait to watch the stars of USAC, The All-Stars Circuit of Champions, and so many more compete here at Chili Bowl and then bring their talents over to Circle City Raceway to play #INtheDirt."

The Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire takes place January 11-16, 2021.

A limited number of Reserved Seats Monday and Tuesday’s opening rounds can be purchased at the event.

A limited number of Pit Passes will be sold per day throughout the Chili Bowl to the General Public. Pit Passes will be available starting Monday, January 11 at 9:00 A.M. (CT) at the main entrance of the River Spirit Expo Center, located by the Golden Driller.
