Bud Shootout this Friday, July 3 at US 36 Raceway
OSBORN, Mo. – Two big nights of racing are set for this weekend at US 36 Raceway.
This Friday, July 3, is the Budweiser Shootout and is the first of two nights of racing at US 36. After two postponements, US 36 has remained persistent in completing the Bud Shootout. The Sprint Series of Nebraska are once again prepared to make their first appearance at US 36 in 2020. Along with the SSN, the USAC Midwest Wingless Racing Association will also make their first appearance in 2020.
As part of the special event, special heat race bonuses are on the line. Heat race winners in both classes of sprint cars will receive a $75 bonus. Second in the heats earn a $50 bonus with third picking up a $25 bonus.
To complete the show, the IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sport Mods will also battle it out on the high banks. The pits gates open at 4 p.m. The grandstands open at 6 p.m. with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m.
Tickets for the Bud Shootout are $20 for general admission, $18 for senior and military and children 12 and younger are free. Pit passes are $35. Online tickets for the Bud Shootout are available at https://market.myracepass.com/store/tickets/?i=1212582&store=17636.
