2020 Season Opener Results & Recap
The 2020 racing season began on Saturday night at the Jamestown Speedway. The weather was definitely windy, but the racing action was great and the weather held out until after the races had been completed for the night. We want to thank all of the drivers, fans, and track workers that came out to enjoy the action on Saturday. The track was very smooth and dry slick the entire night. We had a total of 109 cars in the pits. Congratulations goes out to our winners and runner-ups during the season opener:
Bombers/Pure Stocks - 16 Cars:
Winner: Dylan Steele, Runner-Up: Jayden Michaelsohn
John Gartner Jr. had crossed the Hansen Tire Service finish line first, but unfortunately an offset wheel lead to a disqualification from the feature.
INEX Legends - 18 Cars:
- Winner: Ty Wilke, Runner-Up: Ryan Braseth
Wissota Midwest Modifieds - 28 Cars:
Winner: Cody Lee, Runner-Up: Preston Carr

Once again, thank you to all of the drivers, fans, and track personnel that came out to the show on Saturday night. We really appreciate everyone's support at the Jamestown Speedway and we have to thank everyone for coming out. We hope all of the drivers had a great time and hope to see everyone back throughout the season.

Next week Saturday, June 13th is the 1st Annual Don Gumke Racers' Memorial featuring $2,222 to win for the IMCA Modifieds, $1,222 to win for the Wissota Street Stocks (Steffes Wissota Street Stock Tour Event) and $222 to win for the Bombers. The gates open at 5:30 pm and racing action begins at 7:00 pm. Hope to see everyone next week Saturday!
