Sport Mod Busch Shootout June 22 at the Hill Raceway
(Sturgeon Bay, WI) 6/13/19 Press Release- Point night #2 of the season will take place on Saturday June 22 at the Hill Raceway. Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Street Stocks and Baby Bombers will be in action. Races start at 6:00pm
The June 22nd show will also showcase the Sport Mods in the Busch Shootout courtesy of Flanigan Distributing. The top five in Sport Mod points from the previous night are automatically qualified. Those drivers are Craig Dorner, Chris Budzban, Jarred VanLaanen, Tailar Ness and Aaron Butterbrodt. The remainder of the shootout will be filled by the 5 highest finishing drivers in that night's feature who aren’t already locked in. There will also be 2 track provisional positions. The event will take place after the final feature.
A total of 12 cars split into a pair of 6 car qualifiers. We will take top 3 from each of those races. 6 cars total will make-up the dash to be crowned the 2019 Busch Shootout Champion. The winner will take home a trophy and (6) 30 packs of Busch Light.
The Street Stock Busch Shootout will take place a week later on Saturday June 29. Races start at 6:00pm
Saturday July 20 former NASCAR winner David Reutimann makes his return to the Hill for the Stock Car Busch Shootout. Races start at 6:00pm
Prices these events are: Pit pass $25, crew members 17 and under $15. Grandstands $10, 12 and under free. Service members are free with ID.
