I-90 "re-opener" delayed one week
The grand re-opening of I-90 Speedway will be pushed back one week. Continuous cold and rain has not allowed the facility to reach opening standards.
"We are so excited to get the 2019 season underway at I-90 Speedway," said Rod Pattison, general manager of the track. "Mother Nature just isn't cooperating with us so we have to push the opener back one week. We know it'll be worth the small extra wait for area teams and fans."
Those who have purchased advanced tickets can use those same tickets for the new opening date of May 18. That event also features the Paramount Racing Series.
The May 18 season opener will feature early access for team with the pit gate opening at 2 p.m. Fans may also enter early at 4 p.m.
