Kinzley Earns First Career Feature Victory at Dacotah Speedway

Bismarck’s Quentin Kinzley quickly grabbed the lead from pole sitter, Travis Tooley, in the IMCA Modified feature. Tooley and Marcus Tomlinson raced for second before a series of early cautions reset the field. On the restart, Jeremy Keller passed Tooley for third and challenged Tomlinson for second. Keller passed Tomlinson but Tomlinson retook second the following lap. A third caution regrouped the field with 12 laps to go. Keller reclaimed the second position on the restart, leaving Tomlinson with his hands full with a quick Shawn Strand. They made contact, allowing Tom Berry Jr to pass both drivers for third. With only seven laps to go, Berry started to reel in Keller for second as Kinzley was catching lapped traffic. Berry passed Keller with four laps to go, bringing Jeff Taylor with him. When the checkered flag waved, Marcus Tomlinson made a last lap pass to finish fourth ahead of Jeremy Keller. Jeff Taylor finished third while Tom Berry Jr finished second. Quentin Kinzley led all 25 laps to win his first career feature victory in the IMCA Modified division.
