It’s Devil’s Bowl Winter Nationals Weekend

TULSA, Okla. (October 19, 2017) The 44th Devil’s Bowl Winter Nationals and Lanny Edwards Memorial has arrived with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network headlining the two-day affair on Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21.

Sam Hafertepe, Jr. has asserted his dominance of the Devil’s Bowl so far this season, having topped both nights of the Spring Nationals as well as a Mid-Week stop during Speedweek competition. Carrying 15 Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour wins into the weekend, Hafertepe leads the way in tour standings by 400 markers with seven rounds of competition remaining on the season.

Aaron Reutzel holds second with Wayne Johnson trailing by 55. Matt Covington fourth is 88 makers from the runner-up spot with Johnny Herrera holding fifth and eyeing another Devil’s Bowl triumph after winning the Friday edition of the 43rd Winter Nationals, despite a failing engine.

Seth Bergman holds sixth with Blake Hahn, Skylar Gee, Harli White, and Josh Baughman making up the top-ten in driver standings.

Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21 both open at 6:00 P.M. with racing getting underway at 8:00 P.M. Friday’s card includes Texas Winged Modifieds, USRA Modifieds, and Factory Stocks while Saturday will transition to South Dallas Battery & Electric IMCA RaceSaver Sprint and S.L. Nabors Roofing Limited Modifieds.
