LEDUC, Alb. (October 6, 2017) Continuing to pick up speed through his rookie season with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, Skylar Gee hopes to keep that momentum rolling as he makes his first visit to the El Paso County Raceway on Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7,

“The place looks pretty neat. Looking at pictures and videos, I’m excited to get there and see what we can do. More than that, we’re ready to do some short track racing,” said Skylar who leads the Brodix ASCS National Rookie of the Year standings.

Rolling out of the Fall Brawl at I-80 Speedway, Gee again was able to race his way into the A-Feature, where he was able to advance from 17th to 12th, despite the track narrowing throughout the event.

“I made a few mistakes the first few laps, and that cost me, but as we went on I was able to pick those spots up and start really moving through the field. I feel I would have probably finished top-ten if I hadn’t missed it at the start, but overall it was a good run.”

Friday, October 6 at El Paso County Raceway gets underway at 7:00 P.M. with Saturday racing at 6:00 P.M. (MDT) and can be heard on http://www.racinboys.com.
