At a Glance: Attica Raceway Park & I-96 Speedway

WHAT
•Following the first East Coast swing of the season, the World of Outlaws return to the Midwest this week for a stop at Attica Raceway Park in Ohio on Friday, May 21 and I-96 Speedway in Michigan on Saturday, May 22. Joey Saldana is the current series point leader after picking up three-Top-Five finishes last weekend. He leads 20-time series champion Steve Kinser by 13 markers, with Jason Meyers, the series most recent winner third, only 20 markers out of the lead. Last season Dale Blaney was victorious at Attica Raceway Park, while Meyers picked up the win at I-96 Speedway. In the first 18 races of 2010, there have been 10 different winners, with 18 drivers leading laps in feature events.

WHEN
•On Friday, May 21 at Attica Raceway Park, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Eastern, with the grandstand gates opening at 3:30 p.m. Eastern, with racing set for 7:45 p.m. Eastern.

•On Saturday, May 22 at I-96 Speedway, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Eastern, with the grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Eastern, hot laps are set for 6 p.m. Eastern with time trials to follow. Racing is set for 7:30 p.m. Eastern.

WHERE
• Attica Raceway Park is located Northeast of SR 4 & US 224 in Attica, Ohio. From this intersection drive 1/4 mile north on Route 4 to Lemmon Street, then 3/4 miles east to the Attica Fairgrounds.

•I-96 Speedway is located in Lake, Odessa, Michigan. Take I-96 to exit 64, then 0.5 miles south, then 0.7 miles west.

TICKETS
•On Friday, May 21 at Attica Raceway Park, adult tickets will be $30, with tickets for those ages 11-15 $15, with kids 10-under admitted free of charge. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the track at 419-680-5606. For more information visit http://www.atticaracewaypark.com.

•On Saturday, May 22 at I-96 Speedway, general admission tickets for adults will be $30 in advance and $34 the day of the race, with general admission tickets for those ages 6-12 $15, with kids 5-under admitted free of charge in the general admission section. Adult reserved tickets will be $32 in advance and $34 the day of the race, with reserved tickets for those 12-under $15. •Attica Raceway Park is a high-banked 1/3-mile oval. The track record of 11.306 seconds was established by Butch Schroeder on Sept. 7, 1998

•I-96 Speedway is a semi-banked half-mile oval. The track record of 15.093 seconds at 119.261 mph was established by Steve Kinser on July 25, 2008.
