Muench and Manthei Masterful In USMTS Undercard

Luxemburg,WI,7/11/17—In 2013, Business News Daily reported that Tuesdays were the most productive day of the work week. Troy Muench and Ryan Manthei may well agree with statement after each of them scored their first Luxemburg Speedway feature wins of the season on Tuesday night in support of the United States Modified Touring Series.
Troy Muench led every lap of the Stock Car feature, but it was no cakewalk. Muench built a sizeable lead over the first eleven laps before the only race of the caution flew. Rod Snellenberger restarted on Muench’s back bumper. Over the remainder of the race Snellenberger applied the pressure to Muench for the lead. Snellenberger ran the inside line on the track, while Muench remained up high. Snellenberger was able to get his nose up to Muench’s door on more than one occasion, but was never able to muster a pass. Muench was first across the line followed by Snellenberger, Junior Karcz, Dave Bouche, and Barry VanStraten.
Allen Dillon grabbed the lead on the opening lap of the Street Stock feature as Ryan Manthei immediately moved from fourth to challenge Dillon. Manthei charged past Dillon on lap eight of the race. As Manthei led, Jason Jenson worked his way through the field to the second spot. Manthei scored the win in the caution-free race. Jensen, Dan Van Pay, Mike Carter, and Jason Kostichka completed the top five.
