By Ben Deatherage
Lebanon, Oregon- After a wet April Willamette Speedway finally managed to get some racing recorded in last weekend. The historic 1/3-mile clay oval returns to action on Saturday, May 6th, for Ladies Night where all females, ages eighteen or older, get into the races for just $5.00. Classes on the card include Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Hornets.

The Super Late Models were the only class last week unable to complete their main event due to rain showers but they will be out in strong numbers with all of them battling to become the first winner of 2017. The IMCA Modifieds make their debut as they were absent in last Saturday’s billing. Kevin Roberts opened his winning account in the Street Stocks while John Gartner got the job in the Hornet ranks.

Be sure and don’t miss another excited round of action at Willamette this Saturday. Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Pit Meeting is at 5:00, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing is slated to get started around 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Senior/Juniors (13-17)/Military $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, while Children (5 and Under) are FREE. A Family Pass (two Adults and up to four Youths) is $35.00 while Pit Passes will be sold for $30.00 each. For more information log on to www.trophymotorsports.com.
