Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway returns to racing this weekend with two nights of action. Everything starts with the Karts on Friday, August 26th. The 1/3-mile will be in action on Saturday, the 27th, with the IMCA Modifieds headlining the card with a $1,000.00 to win feature courtesy of Schram Brothers Excavating. Also racing is the Sportsman, Street Stocks, Hornets, and Dwarf Cars.

General Admission to the Friday Kart race will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $30.00. The Pit Gate will open up around 4:00 PM and Racing is scheduled to begin around 6:30.

In the IMCA Modifieds, three drivers are tied for the most victories. Kyle Yeack, Collen Winebarger, and John Campos all have managed to put together two wins to their credit so far during the current campaign. Matthew Drager, Dustin Cady, and Lane Zerbin have one win each.

Tom Yeack continues to reign dominant in the Sportsman ranks. Yeack has nine victories in ten starts and still has impressively only been defeated once. Jeff Rash is the only driver to have bested Tom Yeack so far.

Justin Evans has the most wins in the Street Stocks this year with three wins so far. Kevin Roberts, Chris Sine, and David Cronk all have won twice while single-race winners include Mikey Brakeall, Jody Tanner, Andrew Langan, Kyle Yeack, Donald Schott, and Shannon Horn.

In the Hornets Tracey Muse has the most victories. Muse has six trips to victory lane while Rowe Lovvorn trails him with an impressive five triumphs. Tylor Owen is the only other winner when he got the job done during the Great American Hornet Challenge.
If you enjoy Dwarf Cars then this is your one and only chance to see them this year. Expect to see drivers from all over the Pacific Northwest make the trip to Willamette.
