Bernal Returns, Takes "Doug Fort Memorial"

Ryan Bernal of Hollister, Calif. made his 2016 USAC/CRA AMSOIL Sprint race debut a winning one Friday night, grabbing the 30-lap “Doug Fort Memorial” at Santa Maria Raceway in the Keith Ford Walker Filtration Systems/Sun Valley AG Transport Spike/Chevy. He passed series point leader Brody Roa on lap nine and led the rest of the way to beat Damion Gardner, Roa, Austin Williams and Danny Sheridan.
