Win #1 for 2016 Season
This past weekend was a great weekend for Austin! He came out with his
first win of the season at Washington County Raceway in the non wing class.
He started 1st in his heat and finished first, in his second heat he
started 7th and moved up two spots to finish 5th. The combined points from
the two heat races put him in 6th place out of the 21 cars entered. For
the feature race, the top 6 in points were inverted placing Austin on the
pole with a heavy fast track. He got the jump on the start and never look
back and brought home the win!
He would like to thank his Dad, Russ, for helping out every weekend, his Mom, Kristy, for cheering him on, and sister, Jamie, for doing PR for him. He would also like to thank his sponsors, MyRacePass, Bandit Shox, 21 Racing and Supply, Onyx Graphic, Abat Lerew Construction, and Afco for all that they do throughout the season!
This coming weekend the team will travel to Jefferson County Speedway in Fairbury, Nebraska to race. We also have shirts available online for purchase! Come visit the trailer after and say hello!
