Yakima, Washington- Redmond's Ron Brewster enters the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series Season Finale weekend second in points. He trails current point lead Dave Walters by just twenty markers. With two races left, Friday September 25th and Saturday the 26th, Central Washington State Fair Raceway will be the race track that the championship will be decided on.

“We are going into this weekend with a bit of confidence and knowing our car is right as we finished 5th at Willamette on the 12th,” said Brewster, “we know we need some racing luck and that Dave will have to suffer a DNS in at least one race Friday or sat for us to have a shot at the title.”

Brewster has ran some local races at Willamette Speedway in Lebanon with the Super Late Models producing some impressive results as stated in the quote above. In series competition he has been very consistent. Although he has yet to win a main event in 2015 he has posted nine top fives in twelve races. His best finish of the campaign is second which he has done so twice.

“We've ran very consist most of the season with lots of top fives but the “W” has been very illusive,” he continued, “we are prepared and are going into this weekend ready to get up on the wheel and take home a championship.”

The chauffeur of the Central Oregon Trucking/Driving Force Graphics/W.W. Trailers/Öhlins by JDR #31B Rocket has been to Yakima before but it's been well over ten years since his last trip. He has a second place finish in the early 2000's with the now defunct Pacific Coast Dirt Late Model Series. He is very thanks for all of his sponsors, family, and the fans.

“I have an amazing wife and family that supports me. Central Oregon Trucking is awesome and the one person who has helped me from the beginning has been Darren Coffell," said the 2014 W.R.S. Late Model Lite champion, “without Darren and his constant and endless support we would not be where we are today. I also would like to thank all the fans that come out and support our local dirt tracks.”

Racing each night is scheduled to begin around 6:00 PM and Pit Passes are $35.00. Reserved seating will be sold to folks wanting specific seats for $18.00 each.
