Cottage Grove Speedway would host T-Shirt Night on Saturday June 20th. A good size crowd was on hand to watch some very exciting racing at the historic 1/4-mile clay oval. Classes in competition included the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Dwarf Cars.

Raquel Ivie of Eugene seemed to be on the road to her first win of the 2015 campaign in Clark Printing Extreme Sprint action. Ivie, in her Bi-Mart/Three Rivers Casino/Brook's Cut Rate Auto Parts #70 XXX, would lose the lead late in the feature to Medford's Dave Hibbard. Hibbard would hold on for the victory to win his fourth main event of the season in his C&H Motorsports/Tangible Real Estate Investments/Dave's Carpet & Vinyl Liquidators #3 Zeitler.

Kye Frick, of Sweet Home, was the early race leader for the Late Model event. The No Drought Potable Water Service/Oregon Fuel Injection #08 Swartz, of Frick, would lose the lead around lap four. The driver taking over the coveted position would be Curtis Towns from Cottage Grove. Towns would dominate the rest of the way to collect his fifth victory for car owner Paul Culp and the Superior Fuel Cells/All Pro Steel/Rapid Delivery Service/Superior Silkscreen & Embroidery #42 X-Factor team.

Chris Sine would prove his dominance once again in the Street Stocks. Sine, of Eugene and chauffeuring the Pro Auto Racing/Murphy Plywood/Pure Romance by April/Stipe Engine Specialties #24 Camaro, would take care of business yet again. It would mark the sixth occasion that he has managed to put his mount in the winner's circle.

A strong contingent of Dwarf Cars would be in action with nearly forty cars signing in on the registration sheets. Regulars of the Pacific Hardtop Association and Southern Oregon Dwarf Car Association would be on hand for points for their respected clubs while drivers of the Northwest Dwarf Car Club were also in attendance but not contesting for points. It would be a caution filled feature but when it was all said and done the Pacific Motor Group/St. Johns Family Farms/Rossen Racing #09 D&R of Josh King, from the Medford area, was the winner scoring a huge win for him and his whole team.

Cottage Grove Speedway returns to racing action on Saturday June 27th for Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Night. Classes in action will consist of the Northwest Wingless Tour, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and the Quality RV Hornets.

Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, and 5 & Under FREE.
