NWWT Return To Sunset Speedway Park On Saturday July 26th

Banks, Oregon- 2014 has been a great year for the Northwest Wingless Tour so far with four races in the books producing four different winners. On Saturday July 26th the series will head to Sunset Speedway Park for their first visit of the campaign, all previous attempts to race at SSP were cancelled due to weather. Already Colin Baker, Jesse Thistle, Mike Romig, and Sean Johnson have managed to grace victory lane this season with NWWT.
In sixteen visits to Sunset since 2009 the NWWT has produced eight different winners. Bill Winsley leads the series in feature wins at SSP with four over Gary Davis who has three. Drivers that have two series wins at the ¼-mile clay oval include Theo McCarty, Sterling Kane, and Mitch Hoffses. Earning just one series victory when the tour has come to town have been Ryan Bothwell, Mark Nichols, and Tony Thomas.
