Those classes included the IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Hornets. The Hornets were a late addition so it was a non-point contest.

In only a handful of starts in 2014 Gus Cooper from Creswell was impressive for several laps of the IMCA Modified main event. Cooper would grab the initial lead in his Eastside Rollforming Specialties/Raceprint.com/BBQ Oil Barbeque Sauces #10 Pro but would get passed by Mark Wauge. Wauge, from Jacksonville, would have to give it back due to a caution coming out before the lap could be completed.

On the restart Wauge would get around Cooper on lap thirteen and he would lead the rest of the distance. It would be the second win of 2014 at CGS for Wauge and the Dog House Racing/Payroll Specialties/Hoppes Construction/Schram Brothers Excavating #28M Impressive team.

Troy McElroy from Shady Cove was second in the Left Coast Motorsports/BSB Manufacturing/Siskiyou Pump Service/Rocket Designs #57M Swartz while behind him in third went to the Berry’s Oak Grove Storage/B.R.E.
