Saturday May 10th Fan Appreciation Night Event At Cottage Grove Speedway Rained Out

The Saturday May 10th Fan Appreciation Night at the Cottage Grove Speedway has been cancelled due to rain. With the precipitation the grounds were completely saturated and left standing water in several places including the pits and the race track itself. Fan Appreciation Night will be rescheduled for a later date this season so stay tuned.
The Cottage Grove Speedway will be back in action on Saturday May 17th for Pepsi Family Night as well as the 4-Cylinder Nationals. Classes in action that evening include the Hornets, Northwest Extreme Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, and Street Stocks. We will offer our normal family pass for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00 but being that it is Pepsi Family Night complimentary small soft drink beverages will be included with the admission. Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and Racing starts at 6:45. Tickets are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE.
In other news the American Sprint Car Series-National Tour has elected to not come out west so Saturday May 24th and Sunday the 25th will still feature two exciting nights of racing at Cottage Grove Speedway except in will be the ASCS-Northwest Region that will be in the house.
